Narrative Driven.

My purpose as a cinematographer is to serve the story. Wether I'm working on a feature film or a documentary, story always comes first. I approach the light and the composition based on the given narrative and the director's vision. My passion for taletelling is rooted in literature, such as the works of Julio Cortázar or Yasunara Kawabata. My sensitivy towards simplicity in visual language is inspired by painters like David Caspar Friedrich or Georgia O'Keeffe.
